The mind is a protective device. Left to its own, it will do anything to keep me in homeostasis. It does not want me to take that jump, struggle, or do that hard thing.

And the world makes it so easy to sit back and spend my time and energy doing things that are not relevant to my growth. Or the co-creation of a better community and the world I am living in.

The mind does not want me to do that one hard thing today. Because that one hard thing is exactly what could take me out of the trance. The mind wants me to play the games already set in motion by those who have intentionally or unconsciously messed it up for all of us.

This is why doing one hard thing today is crucial to my freedom, and, the reclaiming of my kingdom.
