When you feel down,
write your feelings on a piece of paper
and read it out loud.
Tear the paper into pieces,
and burn them.

As the little pieces go up in flames,
the feelings you wrote go up in the atmosphere.
Those feelings will find a place in someone, somewhere, sometime.
For now, they have left you
and made space for other feelings to come.

Now, on a piece of paper,
write the feelings you want to feel.
Read it aloud.
Put that piece of paper on your heart,
and feel those words gently enter.

As your heart beats,
Those feeling spread throughout your body
carried by the blood your heart pumps out,
beat by beat.
