How to Succeed Every Week

The power of a weekly asessment template

Living with intention is both a science and an art. Science because it involves the understanding of complex mental processes; art because it works differently for different people so we just need to play around a bit and figure out the techniques that work best for us.

What I am about to share with you is a weekly template that I have experimented with for the last 10 months. It is the product of diligent research, experimentation, and discussion with other life coaches and associates.

I use this template every Sunday when I spend about an hour or so reflecting on how the previous week went, and plan for the coming week.

This template has these 4 major components:

  • GAINS from last week
  • GAP from last week
  • Last week’s score
  • GOALS for this week

I will define them.

Write down the GAINS from last week

Gains are wins. Things you did well. Good things that happened to you. Your successes.

Identifying these things as our “gains” allows us to be grateful for what we have accomplished…
