Moss and Tree

A haiku

Through changing seasons
moss slowly grows on branches
softening the trees.

As I was walking down the pavement amidst the sequoia trees, the rain made everything look lush and green. I caught the attention of the moss growing around the trunks and branches of the large trees. The sensations of feeling the bark and the moss growing on it differed.

The softness of the moss so well complimented the hardness of the tree. That they wanted to be with each other.
