I don’t know.

But I felt empowered when I spoke with a Digital Marketing expert who told me that there is a way to figure out your niche without doing the conventional business practice of cutting out everything else and only focusing on one thing.

I just started this Personal Branding workshop. My desired outcome from the workshop is to figure out how I can fit all of my passions under one umbrella.

It is a mightly one, but also one that excites me.

The concept of “Content Pillars” is an interesting one.

Say you are a Business Analyst, a Dancer, a Writer, and a Permaculture enthusiast. Then technically, you could have these four areas as your content pillars. And you would market yourself on social media platforms in any of these four areas.

There is no need to follow a specific schedule or keep feeding your social media accounts with content several times a day. The point is to put out content from your content pillars in a balanced way so they feel authentic to you and the people in your network.

And engage in the comments and feedback you get through those contents. Engagement is key.

Through engagement, you will be able to find your niche.

So, this is the key takeaway from my first course.

At the least, there is a feeling of excitement and hope. For people like myself who have found it hard to follow conventional business practices, this is quite amazing.
