A reflection

The concept of a triangle is a commonality in Buddhism, Christianity, and Hinduism. I just learned about this in a recent discussion I had with a Buddhist monk, who had a Christian background and studied Hinduism.

In Christianity: Father, Holy Ghost, and Son. Buddhism: Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha. Hinduism: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. In researching, I also learned that Judaism and Islam also revere the trinity.

Trinity is symbolic in all these religions.

The three points of the triangle symbolize the source of power, the invisible, and the creation. In other words — the creator, the vision, and the manifestation.

This got me thinking of how our perception of reality could be so different if we started looking through the symbolism of a triangle.

For instance, I am now writing. I am the person, the source of power, writing this article. The article itself started as an idea — something invisible but always alive in my thoughts and feelings. This published article is the manifestation.

We are the source of power. Our visions and goals are invisible yet pervasive — always occupying our thoughts and feelings. When we achieve our goals or create our visions, they become manifestations.
