Why Accountability?

Accountability is a crucial part of our lives.
After applying it in my personal life for the last 2.5 years, I have come to really value it. And my understanding and practice of accountability keep evolving.
Accountability is a powerful tool that will allow me to exploit my potential. It has taught me that I am 100 percent responsible for my emotions and perceptions. I don’t have to feel responsible for other people’s state of being.
But I must empathize.
Being able to listen and empathize with others, and my inner child, goes a long way. They mean everything.
Doing less and being accountable for the things I am already committed to is a much better way of living than trying to achieve more with shallowness.
With practice, accountability is most meaningful when it becomes second nature. But we must all start somewhere with the belief that we are great. That we are amazing…
